Is this LOVE? Stepping upon the simple stage while everyone in the hall is watching you was the best thing I could have ever done. Every emotions of happiness are surrounding  the four-corner of the hall. That feeling like "YES! Graduate na jud!" was experienced by every seniors'. This is a gift of "Class 2018".

What have I learned?

18 Things The things that I've learned in our immersion were: I learned to be patient. I learned to plot an area. I learned to manage my time in work and with my friends. I learned to use my initiative sometimes. I learned to be friendly with the clients. I learned to adjust with the new environment. I learned to love my work. I learned to read and identify different land titles. I learned some equipment and instruments of a Geodetic Engineer. I learned to compute Northings and Eastings of an area. I learned to compute, retrace and adjust existing areas. A Geodetic Engineer have to distribute geodetic data to government agencies or the general public after surveying a certain area. I learned to compute the exact horizontal and vertical position of points on the earth's surface. I learned a bit of Law on Obligations of Contract of a Geodetic Engineer. I learned a bit of Law on Natural Resources including Laws on property. I learned a bit of what are the p

Farewell

Last Day The last days of immersion was a success though it means farewell to our co-worker. 10 days of being an intern or whatsoever, is a great opportunity for us as Grade-12 students. February 6, 2018, the last day of our work as intern was just a simple day. I am glad that we have accomplished our immersion without any problem. Thank you for our supervisor Engr. Archie James Sumalinog for sharing his knowledge about Geodetic Engineering.

This is it...

First Day January 24, 2018 We were immersed on January 24, 2018 at Sumalinog Surveying Services. The first day of our immersion was a challenge for the three of us because we have encounter different environment though we were only immersed in a private sector but it was indeed a challenge for us in the sense that we have to adjust to the new workplace. On the first day, Engineer Sumalinog gave us a problem to be solved and gladly we were able to answer the problem that he have given to us.  That was the first day of our immersion, not very interesting...

Immersion? LEzzGoooo!

Pre-Immersion Orienttion and Sent-off Ceremony As a pioneering student of the first batch of the new curriculum in the Philippines and as a student of Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School Integrated Senior High School we as students, proudly say that we are and globally competitive. I never thought of getting into this far when I was young. Immersion, I thought of being immersed is just a kind work for 10 days yet I was wrong because it's more than just a work, because of immersion we can develop ourselves to be globally competitive and productive well being.  Sent-off means an occasion at which people can express good wishes and say goodbye to someone who is leaving a place, from the word itself we are being supported by our parents as we go to our Immersion and last January 5, 2018 we were being sent-off by our parents and it was great.

Simba! Simballay! Simballay!

Image
Simballay came from the mansaka word 'Simbayay' which means togetherness and thanksgiving of bountidul harvest. Simaballay Festival is celebrated every December in every year. It is the 23rd celebration of the Nabunturan's pride, Simballay Festival. Lights, people, and booths in the middle of the way. As Simballay celebrated, every barangay showcase their greatness and trademark by advertising their significant product. This year's Simballay Festival celebration I have joined Trashion/Recyclo-Model and Giant Christmas Tree contest together with my friends. I can't deny the fact that my experience in Simballay Festival 2k17 was fun.

Salute to all Parents!

Parents' Day is a celebration held every year by us, children, to honor the unconditional love, unending support, and dedication of our parents. This celebration serves as bridge to connect the gap of the two generations. And it makes a difference in keeping us in great communication and building bonds stronger. Parents are educators, mentors, role models and protectors to their children. They are also engineers for they plan and build the future of their children. Children offered gifts, greetings, flowers and even songs for their parents. Through this simple act of gratitude we can show love for them. We can pay their blood, sweat and sacrifices they have given and done for our sake. On the first day of December year 2017, NNCHS celebrated "Parents' Day". My Parents' day went well with my nanay who gladly attended to the program. Like every other students I offered flowers, greeting and hug to my nanay. I thank her for all her sacrifices and
