What have I learned?

18 Things The things that I've learned in our immersion were: I learned to be patient. I learned to plot an area. I learned to manage my time in work and with my friends. I learned to use my initiative sometimes. I learned to be friendly with the clients. I learned to adjust with the new environment. I learned to love my work. I learned to read and identify different land titles. I learned some equipment and instruments of a Geodetic Engineer. I learned to compute Northings and Eastings of an area. I learned to compute, retrace and adjust existing areas. A Geodetic Engineer have to distribute geodetic data to government agencies or the general public after surveying a certain area. I learned to compute the exact horizontal and vertical position of points on the earth's surface. I learned a bit of Law on Obligations of Contract of a Geodetic Engineer. Farewell

Last Day The last days of immersion was a success though it means farewell to our co-worker. 10 days of being an intern or whatsoever, is a great opportunity for us as Grade-12 students. February 6, 2018, the last day of our work as intern was just a simple day. I am glad that we have accomplished our immersion without any problem. Thank you for our supervisor Engr. Archie James Sumalinog for sharing his knowledge about Geodetic Engineering.

First Day January 24, 2018 We were immersed on January 24, 2018 at Sumalinog Surveying Services. The first day of our immersion was a challenge for the three of us because we have encounter different environment though we were only immersed in a private sector but it was indeed a challenge for us in the sense that we have to adjust to the new workplace. On the first day, Engineer Sumalinog gave us a problem to be solved and gladly we were able to answer the problem that he have given to us.  That was the first day of our immersion, not very interesting...
